bigmammas poem

The saddest day of my life was when my momma went to rest, got the call from my dad of all, said she fell that's all he could tell, I rushed to her side and ended up in an ambulance ride, screaming and yelling into her deep blue eyes and no they wouldn't let me be by her side, all I could do is cry, we arrived at the hospital and all I see is a bunch of doctors staring at me,  the doctor says do you want to call it, I put my head down and cried out there's a DNR at the head of her bed, in the blink of an eye faster than a feather could fly I was saying my last goodbye, as I sat there all alone I closed those beautiful blue eyes and whispered in your ear only words me and you can here, first my mother my best friend, I will love you forever till I see you again
