A Gothic Dream

†††
Shadows dance under the night sky,
Where they are known to misbehave,
While the Raven sits on the headstone,
Atop the sullen graves...

The fog takes a stroll in the moonlight,
It is in this darkness they appear,
And the stench that fills the air,
Lets you know that they are here...

You walked though the gates and entered,
And now there's no turning back,
With black painted nails and hair,
Dressed to kill all in Gothic Black...

Legends tell of their darkened tales,
Silent as they walk through the mist,
It is dark and very cold in here,
The taste of death upon your lips...

All of their dreams have faded away,
And thoughts no longer fill their heads,
There is only one thing that they know now,
And that is they know they are dead...

Fear has an inherent insanity,
Of those who once lived before,
Now they lift the lids and they rise,
From the caskets wooden door...

She looks, she can see right through them,
As the apparitions come and go,
They are happy that you came here to see them,
From your body they will steal your soul...

Blood runs from the hole in your chest,
Where they reached in and took all you had,
With no life left you now join them,
Cryptic dreams will no longer be sad...

This is everything you had wished for,
This girl with dark black hair,
Which is standing on its ends now,
Because you know that they don't care...

Dream as you must but stay away,
From the playground of the dead,
For if you don't heed this warning,
It will be everything that you dread...

Gothic Girl you are gorgeous,
As you lay there in a puddle of red,
Close your eyes now it's just over,
Just like them now simply you're dead...
†
You awake in your bed you are sweating,
And nothing is as it seems,
Like an orgasm that never ends,
You awake from the Gothic Dream...
