I enjoy the contradictions you play with. For example the perpetually "chaste" paper, though the narrator "always return[s] to spill [...] ink." The last lines are also fun. Who can resist wet cement? ^_^

my thoughts turn to Galadriel from Lord Of The Rings in reading this.
The concluding line at first seemed odd but with a bit more brain power it looked like a great fit
