Remember Me
Remember me when I am gone,
Away, far away, to where I belong.
Remember me for the words we said, for the time we spent, for the love we made
Forever to me, I thought you belong
The lamp too low, the wine too strong.
Remember me for the paths we walked,
Coats empty but hearts full of love.
Remember me for frolics shared
eyes unmet, blushes spared.
Portcullis of the society was where you drew the line.
Alas, the journey ended, the story incomplete, but we divine!
So remember me never again but remember me once again,
When pots will burn and Floyd will chime
Remember me, for its only memories, which I can leave behind.
