Visions in the dark,
such a funny thing really,
that we can touch without ever truly feeling,
vibrant emotions pushed beneath the surface,
odds and ends,
bits and pieces,
with no realized purpose.
But every dream,
No matter how fleeting,
Keep troubled men sane,
And lovers hearts beating.
