dimentia

You look at me
But you dont know Who I AM
I want to reach out for you
I want to take your hand
I will walk with you through memory lane
We will Sing songs together
Like the good old days
I look at you with a glimmer of hope
Just a speck would suffice
I want to be your little girl again
Not a Stranger it would be nice
You havent been home
Not for years
And im slowly getting tired of all the tears
Grandma can you hear me
Grandma can you see me
Its me I AM right here
But this darkness takes hold
And in your mind i dissappear
I once was your little girl now
The worst thing has happend
It opened up my fears
To look at me without the warmth i always knew
To feel nothing when i say i love you
The drs. Call it dimentia
I dont know what to do
The tears continúe to fall grandma
Are you in there somewhere
Just one more time I wanna feel your touch see your smile
Just sit down talk for a while
Sit right there in your loving embrace
Feel your hands Wipe the tears from my face
I miss you so much it hurts at times
Dimentia the darkness in your mind
I love you grandma forever and Ever for all time
