Stolen Glance

I sat here waiting for you to pass by
that may I steal a glance of your pretty smiles
This I did everyday
But never had the gut to tell how I felt, I was afraid
Love is kinda complicated I guess
the fear of rejection was deep in chest
Love is from the heart and I would be broken if it was thrown into a hearth

yeah, there she was

Her face was spotless like the snow in the Arctic
Her scarlet red lips were so inviting they got men hypnotic
She was the epitome of beauty crafted in the image of a being divine
Amongst her kind she was the fairest of them, gosh! She's so fine
I held my newspaper with my sunny shades on
Not wanting to make her have an inkling of eyes mapping her curvy contours
She hollered at a friend then smiled
I finally got what I wanted
To steal a glance of her smile.
