Always been a storm...
You went to travel distant lands
somehow setting your spirit free
in your doing what you needed to
you sailed off, and away from me
Didn't deal well with your leaving
many words of anger, said by me
my fault, I've always been a storm
But I've never been a calm blue sea
Sad tears have soaked many pillows
over my what if's, about us you see
heartache for the love always present
for the part of you that belongs to me
Since you sailed away a lifetime has passed
I should warn you away from me like a banshee
but I won't because I have always been a storm
and I don't know how to be a calm blue sea
