The Nightmare Begins
Lost in the darkness.
Can't find my way.
Sick of feeling love.
Need to escape.
Light has all but left me.
The darkness closes in.
Dreams are all empty.
The nightmare begins.
There is no way out,
And nowhere I can turn.
No one now to talk to.
So many things I should have learned.
Once I lived in fanstasy.
My life is caving in.
All my dreams are over,
And the nightmare must begin.

I feel fantasy is for the young then self created reality seems to hit you hard. I loved your poem I hope you are well and I'm so glad you shared.
