Blue Dream Sea

It seems I'm alone in this.
No one thinks like me, I guess.
Gasping for blessings
Treading the curses
--diving to achieve the wrong ideas.

Thing is... I don't know how to swim.
Waves of "life"
Throwing me into the faces of
Cliche robots shaking hands.

Hypnotized in Stavia's prime eyes.
So, please, for a little
Design justified intentions
So that our current fourth dimension
Won't justify as a waste of time.

I can never finish a book.
Because the fear of disappointing
My own conscience.
It's as if my insecurities have me
Holding my success hostage.

But you invited me over Friday evening.
Kick back in our match black vans.

"Lay and Blue Dream with me?"

Patiently waiting for your gracious approach,
I see you walk towards me
Though I'm turned away.

But I don't look up.
For there is a small chance it's not you.
I've regretted this before.

Because I will look into your eyes,
Though your eyes don't look at me.

You're searching too deeply.
I've been drowning, too.
