wrything along on
black and grey roads
gleefully grabbing hold
stealing our souls more each day

the state lies to us
and tells us it cares
with each new thing it tries
to make the beast larger
.
weekends and holidays
are the only days that you can get to work
in a reasonable time breaking free
from its soul crushing grip
