Image for the poem Yer Eyes

Yer Eyes

Like chocolate
I melt into you
dancing a fandango
on the end of your tongue
drowning in tides
of your eyes
I become lost
in perfect colour
I cannot breath
intoxicated
in your beauty
and the rhythm
of your soul
why would I
want to leave?
Its cold
out there
my heart
like ice,
your touch
like snowflakes
melting in the rain,
Maybe its true
I was staring at you
how could I resist
I remain the ghost
at your side
lost in your gaze
as I cease to exist.
