Human
I'm as human as I'll ever be
A stitched heart with a regulated beat
Eyes of gold for everyone to see
And a mind filled with things impossible to treat
Eyes, to look at all the things you can't see
Hands, that reach for safety trapped in my madness
Arms, to embrace to give you the impression that I'm here
Feet, to stay grounded when I'm thrown to my knees
Throat, to swallow the bitter remedies to my impending rage
Lungs, to take in the cold air as I exhale the thick cloudy smoke
Spine, meant to support me as shivers race up and down
Voice, to greet or farewell, instead deceives you and plays with your mind
I'm as human as I'll ever be
All the things someone would need
To walk in secret of myself in society
A mind filled with things impossible to treat
