ribbon (part 2)

Wrapped in ribbon, wrapped in lace.
Running from demons she dare not face.

Pretty little bows, pretty little lies.
Afraid that the truth will bring her demise.

Each one a memory she wants to forget.
Leaving only a silhouette.

Some for the memories some for the scars.
Still she reaches for the stars.

So she tears her bows and rips every thread.
Leaving only one on top of her head.
