I Guess it's true, I'm not good at apologies
But I know that you still need time 'cause you're just a man
These words never seem to come out right
I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?
Oh, won't you except my apology?
'Cause that's all I need
This ain't right, it's clear to see
But darling, except my apology
Why am I so emotional?
No, it's not a good look, loss some pride
And deep down I know this never works
But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt

Apologies are important especially within the dynamic of intimate relationships.
It speaks of growth through conscious acknowledgement of another person's feelings
