Very true and prophetic. Makes me want to start playing again, but my piano sits in my living room in dead silence
after forgetting the touch of my fingertips. This metaphor has been sung before in a different way. If you have never heard it, listen to the song "Ebony and Ivory" by Paul McCartney with Stevie Wonder. An oldie from back when I was your age. It aches to think of how many years ago that was, but it was just after I started writing poetry.
