what is the purpose of pain?
what task was it given over my name?
it punishes me for innovations and deviations
I must exist within its boundaries
and remain plain
but the more I stay within the frame
the more I become restless and insane
it protects to imprison me
keeping me caged
I remain plain
beyond its borders, is there a paradise?
is pain a portal to lands immortal
and times unknown?
what secrets lie beyond its limits?
and dare I risk it?
dare I risk losing my name?
