When Separate, They are Truths Unto Themselves, Yet When They are Side by Side..

    
    “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We begin to hope for a thing after we have set our beliefs in it, and so in it we thrust our determination. We hope for a thing to be true, but we accept it as true first. This determination and hope for a thing does not emerge before one has already come to believe in it. This is why research will never be bias-less and without subjectivity, because to try to prove a hypothesis already entails one’s even slightest belief in it. The scientific theories and religious happenings are already held as true by their respective parties. We are not trying to prove a truth at all. We are just providing evidence for our intangible beliefs by performing greater and greater acts of faith to appeal to followers. Which is true between the two logics is not being searched. It is already known to be unsearchable. So let’s stop acting as if one can conquer the other and let’s just be transparent that the future of truth is in the amount of people that believe it and spread it. Then, we can continue putting on a show, all of us religious and non-religious that proselytize naturally whenever we open our mouths, for the children of humankind.

    In a scholar’s lecture room, there is truth. In a church’s pews and seats, there is truth. But in nature, there is no truth. What then? Shall we not believe anything? A man cannot be like a tree—simply being, living, and dying and still be healthy and sane. To think is to already believe in an abstract principle, and to know is to already promote an abstract principle.
