9TH Self-Therapy(Fighting Till Death)
9TH Self-Therapy(Fighting Till Death)
(Inspired by "Fighting" by "Yellowcard," A cover lyric song, with half of my words and meaning)
Verse 1
Take a look back and remember all
The tears and sadness you went through
As each lesson brings you closer to the
Answers you want
Pre-Chorus
(Feeling no remorse and love)
BEHIND YOUR BLINDING AFFECTION
Chorus
Watch out now
As I fill out the blanks for the walls and ants
Who know damn well, WHAT THEY WANT IN LIFE
With every voice chanting-(FIGHTING)
(Ask yourself this)
WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR
Bridge
What are you fighting for
(Fighting for)
Verse 2
So please, ask yourself this
When will I ever cast out my demons and say that I'm strong
When I know damn well my body is failing
A living zombie(so cold in fear and loneliness)
Will I find ever find hope
WILL I EVER GIVE UP
Pre-Chorus
(Feeling no remorse and love)
BEHIND YOUR BLINDING AFFECTION
Chorus
Watch out now
As I fill out the blanks for the walls and ants
Who know damn well, WHAT THEY WANT IN LIFE
With every voice chanting-(FIGHTING)
(Ask yourself this)
WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR
Bridge
What are you fighting for
(Fighting for)
Hook(play this part softly and sing softly, until you hit the last 2 lines, scream out loud)
What am I fighting for-(fighting for)
Who am I fighting for-(fighting for)
When will this ever end
When will I find the answers
IN MYSELF
AND EVERYONE I DEFEATED AND LOVED
Pre-Chorus
What am i(WHAT AM I)
FIGHTING FOR
Chorus
Watch out now
As I fill out the blanks for the walls and ants
Who know damn well, WHAT THEY WANT IN LIFE
With every voice chanting-(FIGHTING)
(Ask yourself this)
WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR
Song meaning
So I came back to an old song I listened too for the first time when I heard it from playing madden on xbox. I should really say this is a cover lyric song fully, but at the same time I incorporated most my own lyrics and added some more things to the original. I looked up Hook, by the way and I don't know if I used it correctly, cause I thinkers different from a breakdown. This song is all about questioning yourself and finding the answers in what your fighting for. The term walls and ants are used as a metaphor and as(oh I don't know how to say it) it's like when your small and being bullied and you see other people being bullied, you would want to end that bullying cycle, so you step out and beat up on the people who bullied you as a way to tell them that I'm gonna be fighting for the bullied and not become like you.
I cried and died a little inside when going back to this song, because in a way, I'm fighting for the answers I want real bad from my parents, other family members, God himself if I ever go to heaven or not(who knows because I've not been going to church as my mother and mom have said), In all reality, I think it's just a message to spread out our words and it's like self-therapy to write this down to let go of the anger inside and out of me.
