Gone
I didn’t talk
I let him go
I watched him leave
I put on a show
I cried, I yelled
I made up lies
I laughed, I whispered
I said last goodbyes
He is gone
I don’t know what to think
I love him, I hate him
I’ve lost that link
That link
That held us both together
Though he didn’t know it
And I didn’t tell him
He turned around
He thought for a minuet
But then heard a rumor
And jumped on in it
Then ran away
As far as the sun
When he finally came back
All the lies were gone
The lies, the whispers
All faded away
He walked up
And talked to me today
We talked, it was nice
But the link was gone
When I heard the secret
I learned his big con
The lie that he
Was hiding behind
I cried again but
There’s still nothing to find
The feeling is gone
He’s just a guy
With the other one
I’m not so shy
His name is—OPPS!
I shouldn’t tell
The better guy
Another story to sell
I let him go
I watched him leave
I put on a show
I cried, I yelled
I made up lies
I laughed, I whispered
I said last goodbyes
He is gone
I don’t know what to think
I love him, I hate him
I’ve lost that link
That link

And I didn’t tell him
