Drowning in Sorrow
My eyes have cried a river
I watch the sunrise, still no answer
Will you let me say hello, will you let go of the anger?
I never imagined it'd be this cold, without you I shiver
Sunrises, sunsets; times but a sliver
It's gotten a little dark outside, inside my hearts dimmer
The fire burned warm once, it's vanished now, gone as my lips quiver
Do you remember when I held you and I kissed you, we've seen days that were better
And I believed in you, when you believed in me and we were wrapped in our desire
Now sitting by the window, I wonder
If you'll listen to the voice in your head that says "leave her"
Or will you tell me we were made to be forever and ever
