Land Mines

(Hook)
Whose footsteps do I follow
When everybody walks light
Whose words do I listen to
When I know they ain't right
How do I look to brighter days
When all I see is the night
How do I make my own path
When it's covered in mines

As I see
This horizon over me
Watching as my sleeve bleeds
Deprived of my every need
A car with no keys
A flower with no seeds
This fire around me
Hate and desire surround me
This world I live in
Was never made for me
Niggas at my door Sunday
Praying to save me
Can t save what's not finished loading
Set fire to the ocean
And all these fireworks exploding

(Hook)

As I see
This ground below me
This Grail so holy
This ho on her knees
Treated so boldly
Growing up on me
Placed upon me
Got to swim through seven seas
This world I live in
Was made for someone else
Niggas on the corner Monday
Begging for my help
Can't help them if I can't help myself
Just sitting and wishing
God felt what I felt

(Hook)
