The Final Walk
†††
We have entered the trails of the Redwoods,
Where the legends have drawn us in,
Wicked tales run deep in their evil,
In the Forest of the Ferries den.
†
It is cold and dark and the mist is thick,
As we walk down the trail she sees,
Watching trees decay where they stand,
Although nothing is right here, it seems...
†
Her arms are inked with a Gothic cross,
Her nails are painted black,
I reach out for her cause I am trembling,
And we are in way too deep ever to turn back...
†
Soon the Ferries are howling as they fly far above,
Like a nightmare that never ends,
And inside this grim and dark forest,
Where in the night the evil begins...
†
The moonlight peeks through a clouded sky,
And its rays break through the trees,
The screams of the Ferries now angry,
As I pull her closer to me...
†
Above you can hear them, like a scream in the night,
Their wings tell the tale of sin,
They want you to surrender,
You can see it in their grin...
†
They are inviting you into their playground,
There is not much you can do to resist,
You were warned that you should not come here,
You've gone far and beyond the abyss.
†
To a place where none live forever,
As the blood runs red on her hands,
The pain begins with her laughter ,
In this village of the damned...
†
She whispers to you that she is one of them,
Her words cut you just like a knife,
She brought you here for a reason,
Because here is where she wants you to die...
†
Her teeth slice far into your pale flesh,
The pain so very intense,
She feeds on the pleasure of lust,
And it's all at your final expense...
†
Together embraced for the final run,
Of this Ferries bludgeoned flight,
To come no more and never return,
In the darkness of this evil night...
†
She pulls you down hard with a vengeance,
They know she is not going alone,
You fell into a Gothic romance,
Where now they are calling you home...
†
It is no longer the trees of mystery,
Death beckoned an angry fate,
Her cries now succumbed to the hatred,
Of this first and final date...
†
You now feel the pain as your screams begin,
But there is no one to hear your cries,
The Ferries fly high in the darkened mist,
Knowing this is where you both died...
†
Love knows no end...
