Oh, sharp glistening beauty
When life is too much to bear
You're always there to care
When my world comes crashing down
You save my soul before I drown
Oh, sharp glistening beauty
As you're warm nurturing relief
Tears through my scarred flesh
I cry rivers of crimson tears
And my desolate, empty shell
Is saved from this living hell

When all sense of solace is lost

Ah, I like that very much. The meaning of one's life must always be connected externally, does it not? It must be both separate from and greater than oneself.
