So here I am
standing out in the cold
at the door to your heart,
entryway to your soul.
Gently knocking.
I refuse to use force.
I want to come in ,
with your permission of course.
Tell me the secret,
give me your key
allow me entry
to where I want to be.
I feel the warmth of your skin
see the compassion in your eyes
Let me into your heart
where your love resides.
