Beginning of the end

Why are we here
for the kids only
he would rather be else where
and I want nothing but happiness for him
One day he will leave and he will be gone
makes you wonder how deep was our bond
I love him dearly but we have strayed apart
I wonder how long before the real separation starts
you cannot keep what wants to be free
you must let it go you must just let it be
The tears will fall a place in my heart he'll keep
but a seat on his thrown as his queen is a seat I can't keep
I'm waiting for the day when he will walk away
