I had seen love today
I had seen love today:
I was confused I thought I hurt you
Today has been a day let me start it by saying
Baby I love you I am holding you
I am watching you while you sleep
I do not expect you to notice me
I am a fool to think that someone could see
But baby you look so calm and amazing when you lay with me
It’s just one of those things what will be will be
I get it and I do not expect you to notice me
Went to the Italian circus today
I had seen true love, for the first time today, I think I was ready
First let me tell you it had been one hell of a day
I thought everything I am is wrong and I needed to change
I was running in circles inside my brain
I was scared maybe I did or said the wrong thing
I thought you were mad and I was like not sure why, I didn’t understand what was happening
I get it your words were to another woman your contemplating
I knew I was not the only one you loved, or love
So I get it and I am okay
I know what love is now love needs time to continuously grow
There were two lovers I watched as they made love in the show
It was magical a transparent, eternal, heightening, glow from mind body and soul
Trust of the other to not let go, pain of the body to be kissed and made whole
A dance of desire to connect on a new intense level
Lovers who saw only the others eyes and it made it all so real and out of control
The burn in the passion the still in the reaction as lovers loved
Together they trusted each other it was everything I ever dreamed everything I ever wanted
A lover to love me, and hold me, and never let me go, a love that will forever grow
A magical feeling when you look at me, and a look that means I am so important to you
A moment that when our eyes meet, nothing matters just you and me
A connection between mind and body and heart and soul the universe declares it a blessing
A lover as passionately as me and willing to go as far as me and farther so I can follow and learn
A lover who will never leave me alone, or leave me behind, or let me go
A lover who adores, desires, respects, admires, and needs me to just be me
A beautiful lover who can see me, for all I am, and the hidden girl I keep safe deep inside
A lover who trust me with what he hides from the world, who shares his fears with me
Oh I cried during the show, It was out of my control what they had taught me was more
Then anyone could ever know
Because now I know what love is I cannot be deceived ever again
And I will know if what he says is true not by his words but the his actions and the hidden lies or truths
