Head-light Eyes
Pin-pricks and needles
I've got a razor inside my tongue
my eyes are heavy marbles
weighing down purple sockets
And my ears are lace
unravelling and tender
please don't scream because we
aren't the same
I am blind and I cannot
tell the difference
from whimpers and itches
Dense addiction begs the question
when the sky's black
in horizontal slits between
my window's wooden blinds
And I'm feeding the night
here at 2:05 a.m. because
there's nothing else to do
but misunderstand
