Blessed are those...

Blessed are those who cry when I'm sinking, damned are
those who cause pain without thinking. Death shall cast no shadow on me
or my kind, only on those who feel pain will the reaper grind. I'll
never unwind, let fortune carry my destiny through the pastures of
hardship to the green braes of glory. No man is an island, yet my
bridges crumbled long ago, my levies though strong, built far too low,
and across these seas i cannot row. For their cold steel bars i long
had fought, the battle for life that time forgot. Blessed are those who
pity my outrage, my wars are too many and costly to wage. I lay here a
spectator of my own destruction, my downfall being part of a grand
instruction. Blessed are those who suffer my sins, for their sake i
pray as the search for hope thins. The lakes of fire in my eyes burned
out down the years, the fog horns of love don't sound out for my ears.
My gentle heart weeps with blood as it's tears. Blessed are those whose
thoughts drown their fears, their veil of laughter's all anyone hears.
