It All Falls Down
As it all falls down around me
I sit crying, scared and lonely
Feeling like a child in this body
With nobody here to hold me
I can't stand the tension between us anymore
Everyday I'm closer to walking out the door
There's a war that's waging deep inside my heart
The pain of feeling so alone is tearing me apart
Every time I try to pull away you drag me back
But the absence of your love cuts me in half
I keep asking you what do we do now?
Do we give up or make this work somehow?
When there's nothing left that we can say
Do we fight harder or do we just walk away?
As it all falls down around me
I sit crying, scared and lonely
Feeling like a child in this body
With nobody here to hold me
I keep asking and begging
And uselessly screaming
Nothing I do seems to
Get through to you
You're a wall of defiance
With blank stares and silence
Am I losing my mind
Or just wasting my time?
