Im Not Crazy
The walls they are unchanging,
And my mind is slowly slipping.
Just one phrase plays on repeat in my head,
Just like a record skipping.
I feel like I am doing well,
The doctor said I have improved,
All my sanity inside me,
I guess it was removed.
They lay me on a cold table,
And place my head between the shocks,
I start to laugh and smile,
As they restrain me with these locks.
I've been gone, a long long time,
Not physically, but my mind checked out.
I think I never really had it,
I never knew what it was all about.
I love the clothing that they gave me,
It's my favorite, it's the best.
It feels like someone is hugging me,
Even if its just a straight white vest.
I sit in my room all day,
I watch the moon move at night.
I stay up all the time now,
But I cannot stand the light.
There's lots of people in my head,
That only I can see.
Other people here treat me like I'm crazy,
But that's okay with me.
I just laugh, I just whisper,
To the voices in my head.
I pretend that they are my friends,
Who would care if I was dead.
But that is not a reality,
I'm just a lonely guy,
Their keeping me in my cell room,
Until its time to fry.
Now their dragging me down the hall,
They tell me to sit and stare.
I just wait until their finished,
Strapping me in this chair.
I start to laugh and ask to be free,
They didn't turn their head,
I let out a scream as I was frying,
And now I guess I'm dead.
And my mind is slowly slipping.
Just one phrase plays on repeat in my head,
Just like a record skipping.
I feel like I am doing well,
