What's Happening To Us?
A little boy
About 6 years old
Was walking down the street all alone.
His shirt was stained
His pants were worn
He was wearing socks without any shoes.
He's nothing but skin and bones.
He hasn't eaten anything in so.
How can we allow this?
We invest our money in war.
Instead, how about sparing it to heal our world?
There's children all over the world,
who are poor without a place to go.
There are families who are torn apart.
Children who are left scared and alone.
Would it hurt us to spare a dollar?
Or our clothing from last year?
How about yesterday's leftovers?
Can't we spare a meal?
Prices are going higher,
Jobs are laying off,
How can anyone live?
Should we teach our children to be self-sufficient?
To grow our own food and trade with others?
It's the only option this world has left!
Children are the future,
We need to do something while we still can.
~~~~ This just came to me out of nowhere. Please let me know what you think!
