Image for the poem If Only

If Only

I'm not sympathetic
I'm not jealous
Why is this
I've lost touch
With myself

Perfect lovers
Beautiful girl
Has the world
A man's lady
And a ballet twirl
She makes the world go round

If only she knew
How perfect she truly is
How good she's got it

Romantic stairs to climb
Beautiful baby ocean blue eyes
Blonde shining hair
A face so fair
A boy's dream made true
But rou?
Who are you

I love you, my friend
But if only you could see
Youre perfect
And I'm your opposite
Or so in my mind
I plant negative words
Thoughts and outlooks
If only I could change
How my eyes look
