The Deadly Drug

When I woke I was surrounded with dead bodies, the shadows creeping in on me. The shadows that had lost their soul, and will never be found again. Screaming that the world is being used. They dance upon the walls of the people. Using body’s to become alive, more like a killer in an innocent child. It brings tears to my eyes to have to see a little girl suffering because of a mistake gone way to wrong. The beautiful faces I see fade in to the shadow never to be found again. Consuming the life of the people. Taking their souls and tossing them around in till they are damaged to the point of no return. It’s like a drug, one hit and you want more. You try to protect yourself from them but in the end you become just like them. A hideous monster that sucks the life out of every one you used to love or even knew. The drug is addictive it makes you do crazy things. I saw my brother suck the life out of our father, that day I began to watch the monsters that they have created. The drug I wish to stay away from, but it is calling my name every time I turn my back. The pretty ones always run this dope show, from one little vile to hundred’s in minutes. So many lives it has taken, you stand around and watch. You try to stay way but when everyone is trying to drag you in to something. Your body gives in and begins to feed with the happiness of the hunger satisfied. I don’t like the drug; it just always comes back for more. The long life I wish to live is gone with this sorrow, which I now have to make up. It ruins your life; I’ve lost so many people. Long life, those 15 minutes of the high you wish you never had. Once you’ve had a taste you never go back. Just forward.
