Layla�s Poem
You gave me a subject and a story
Here is your poem princess:

It�s a cool night tonight and a warm salty breeze is coming in off the ocean
The smell of freshness and delight overwhelm my senses as I look up at the sky
The golden crescent moon is singing a song of serenity while I watch millions of stars
Dancing flashing and signaling the largest star to the center stage and all lights on her
As she comes to take her place for the serenade from the chore of love being made
A distance away the moon sings sweet songs, of patients, love, and acceptance in a serenade

Oh my love� the moon sings, you�re the one who makes me shine� and I feel your light all over me� and my love I am waiting for you� I will wait for all time� I will wait for you to tell me� just tell me your mine�and I will wait to the end of time� for the ends sake� oh my love you make me shine� and I will wait forever if you tell me� just tell me...your mine

In the sky I watched as the moon bore his soul to the star I envied the love I saw in his words
But I watched and held my breath waiting to see what would be sung next and all the chore of
Stars hummed a sad dropping melody as the moon slowly backed and the star the large star
Brightened beyond anything I had ever seen on this clear and cool night with the warm salty
Breeze coming off the ocean and holding me like the world was bracing me for what�s to come
The smell of freshness and delight overwhelm my senses as I look up at the sky
The golden crescent moon sadly awaits his doomed fait and the chores of the stars humming
That sad melody dancing flashing and signaling the largest star to the center stage and all lights
On her I was not prepared but when she began a tear fell down my face it was the most
Beautiful plead of never ending love that�s stood the test of time and she sang it so high so
Sweet so honest and so painfully

My dearest love I could never be in your arms� our love is a love of evil fates� they torture me every day� I see your beauty from miles and miles away� your magnificent in every way� and I can only imagine� that if one day I could feel your burning embrace� it is the day of my end� that�s the only way I can be near you my heart� I watch as you dance� but it will never be with me� the fates of love were cruel and mean� they chose you for me�you are miles and miles away� all I�ve to do, is at my end burn out towards you� and alas my last breath, in a kiss I can give to you� I love you, and send all of my energy to you� so you can shine the way you do� oh my love, my heart beats for you� this will never change� but this is a love that will always be miles and miles away� I see you my dream, your living and you are so beautiful� you are happy� and I am happy for you� I must hang here far, far, away from you� and just adore you� and with my dying breath, my love I will give it to you� I will aim toward your lips and at my end� I will kiss you and breathe into you my last breath

The sun rises and that haunting song lingers in my mind, and I find myself always looking up at the sky now at night
And as months pass, and I remember the sadness, and pain I heard in the stars voice as she professed her love
I seen a shooting star just now it hovered over the moon, she did it, she kissed him and breathed her dying breath into his lungs
She is done, she is gone, and she did not cry, I thought for sure she would or he would, but instead he is burning almost red and brighter than ever
Star dust is falling over him like a shower, and the chore of stars hum a song of bliss and happiness, I don�t understand, this is sad
And I see the moon had waited for her to stop shinning, his bright red glow is dimming, and now, nothing, nothing, there is nothing left in the sky
