abs, I love the differences in
our language...crisps, chips..?
my American brother in law's
3 year old daughter confused
us all when they visited, demanding
chips and crying when we gave her  
what to her were fries...sigh..:)

Oh yes fish and chips! :)

And the shape of American 'fries' are quite different from the English ones.

My (English) husband goes mad with the Americanisation of the English language in my country!

And that 3-year old lady shouldn't be eating junkie chips! ;)

lol chips vs fries... i actualy adore british slang... freaking love it, knickers, car-park, take away, chuffed, bollucks, NOB, ALL of it...
