promises of love
promises of happiness
so freely given to all , easily believed as a child
the pain of truth always lurking in the shadows . these are the lies of life
promises of vows committed to your heart , pledges of undying love easily forgotten with time . these are the lies of life
death is the only truth in life for all other things can be so easily forgotten , just as i am . i am here i want to scream but my sorrow falls on deaf ears for the love , once promised is long dead
soon i shall be too
