the touch of the rain on the skin
on the cool summer night
touches a place in my mind that i'd never seen before
but i knew was there.
opens the world to a new perception,
a love beyond existence
and the dry hunger for the missing life,
the thirst for the missing time.

in a place full of sense and sound,

through choice and decision,

or taken away
or missed

a little world life.

dropping from the sky as rain,
pindrops trickling through the places in my mind,
an empty soul filled by fear -
overcoming,
overflowing the soul with heeartache,
no pain,
but a glorious enchantment,
tipped equilibrium,
something to consider when awake everyday.

a reason to live,
for something to say,
a story to write, a song to sing,
something meaningful in life.
what to think of falling asleep,
no anxiety but imagination,
decisions to make,
adventures to take,
mistakes to learn from
and then make again
to continue on a cycle flowing
in and out and on,
building top on memories
and stories to tell,
a cheap consellation
for the loss of wealth
so material
but the gain of wealth
so intangible
like wisdom,
more memories,
more lessons written
not learned,
still overcoming fear and anxiety,
falling down a hole
but on your feet,
fighting fit,
ready to run,
