"Go Frack Yourself "
Imagine there's no fracking
its easy if you try
corporations suck foundations
as mother nature cry's.
Eyes bleed red in monotone
wealth spreads tentacles of greed
desperation becomes paramount
Where developers plant
there bastard seed.
The king's are in the counting house
while hero's stand the line
protecting sacred raptures
while gas escapes
forming hydrolic fractures.
Land pulled from roots by tractors
governments support won by
secret handshakes
and elusive backhanders.
Counting the penny's
distracting the haters
poisoning the land
with radioactive tracers
fighting the freedom
with handcuffs and tazers
maiming people voice's
killed to death with lazers.
Mother nature screams in pain
sodium chloride delays the breakdown
of polymorphic chains,
But the frac man always has a plan
more concerned with greed and wealth
then human nature and the master plan.
To this cooperate dick sucking ball bag,
more concerned with wealth
then the planets health
i have just one more thing to say...
Mr frack man,
Go frack yourself
Dedicated to Tom And Carly fighting the good fight and the strengh to do what i could not.

This poem was surely a wake up call, you have awakened many images there. Gets to be like a triggered gun almost.....anarchy on DU!

Many thanks as always le fay good to hear from you i guess my first poem in about a year would have to be a rambeling call to arms, I wrote this for the anti fracking movement as i know a group who prtest regually but its good to be back.

YOU'RE ALIVE!
First of all, hi. Second, great comeback. Asides from the message (which is a kick to the head, and a damn good one at that, mind you), I'm loving the somewhat chaotic rhythm and how there's a structure but the lines don't completely conform to them, creating a sort of urgency in the read.

Reports of my death have been greatly expatriated (Always wanted to say that)
Many thanks I have a real bee in my bonet about fracking so thought it was high time to write something.
That's the desired effect I was trying to go for something "Chaotic" and "Punkie" seemed the right way to go.
