Trapped behind these bars of my own making..
Inside my spirit is shaking.
Pain and darkness..
Deep inside.
Something that I cannot hide.
My thoughts cry out
bringing me down.
Burying hope so deep
it cannot be found.

I get a little lost in your use of punctuation but I enjoyed the content. I feel like the thought is not done, like there is more to this piece that what is here.

Thank you, yes I agree I need to work on my punctuation, and I appreciate the criticism.
As well there will most likely be another piece to this. Because again looking at it now I agree it seems unfinished.
