I don't care about poetry

"I do not care for poetry,
It is so trivial you see,
I would rather make honey"
Buzzed the big, black bumble bee
 
"I do not care for story books"
Flubbed the fish from the babbling brook
"I would rather unhinge me from this hook,
To keep my hide from being cooked"
 
"I do not care for fancy words,
For I fly high above the world,
I would rather enjoy my view of the Earth"
Cawed the hungry pigeon bird
 
"I do not care for pretty prose"
Spooked the broken, longing ghost
"I would rather haunt all of those,
Who use paper to escape life's woes"
 
"I do not care for careful rhymes,
To pen as much is a waste of time,
I would rather it be your own business you mind"
The man who said this is surely blind
