Childlike Dreamer
Ah there it is; the childlike voice that soothes me back to believing once more in wishes. Sets free this heavy heart. Uncaged from the burdens of woe, now bent back are the bars that held me so. Souring along the wind swept landscape of dream I have longed for, my angel-dreamer now awakens me. With a song of old, returning to burn bright in the sky its endless wonder. At last I am whole!
Home again, Alice now wiser breaks through the mist of illusion. The mad world dubs me insane, and I blush from the complement. Fixed now are my dewy eyes as I look upon the truth. The unreal holds no power over me. And I am content to sit and laugh until days run themselves meaningless. Sages thought foolish will bring us back with their art, artlessly they hold it all. In the palm of their hands they hold our heart.
So then my fellow dreamers, do you too hear her call? Don't wait for it, just know she is singing for us all.
