A reason to live
Voices are shouting
Insults are thrown
Everybody's out to get me
Nobody wants me
Arguments arise
Doctors lie
Rocks are crumbling beneath my feet
I'm running
But I'm slipping
And falling
Into the darkness of my own mind
I'm sliding into a nap
And into the terrors of my imagination
I sleep because it's like being dead,
Without the commitment
I need a release
An escape
But most of all, a reason to live
Insults are thrown
Everybody's out to get me
Nobody wants me
Arguments arise
Doctors lie
Rocks are crumbling beneath my feet
I'm running
But I'm slipping
And falling
Into the darkness of my own mind
I'm sliding into a nap
And into the terrors of my imagination
I sleep because it's like being dead,
Without the commitment
I need a release
An escape
But most of all, a reason to live
