What if's from School

~What if the bus is late?~
My mom isn't home so I'm all alone
Walking block after block
Because I can't stop
10 more to go

~What if I'm dumb in school?~
I bet I'd end up being the class fool
Not the clown but the special needs
Nothing wrong with that
But I want to lead

~what if I flunk the test?~
I won't make it past the first day
They'll probably send me back
Way back down to Pre-k
I'll be the tallest kid

~what if nobody likes me?~
I guess if they didn't that'd be no schock
I'm like a ticking time bomb
Just watch and watch
I'll explode

~What if I get beat up?~
I'm no normal kid never have been
I stick out like a spike
But I'm a lover
Not a fighter

I guess I'll just wait in see
All the problems in my head
I'll just let them be
Crawl back out
Until next year
