a game of life
with each breath of life, and tick of time
we grow to see the pieces move,
across the two-tone field
we come to lose innocence as if a pair of shoes outgrown.
life; a strategy and each advance precise,
leave nothing to chance, but gamble the dice.
i call your bluff far too easily,
as my knight takes your life.
