Little Bird

The little bird
broke it's neck
trying to get in.
but now,
it lays there,
motionless,
still outside.
twitching,
thoughtless,
limp,
and bleeding.
wishing for death
but perpetually stuck
with a painful disability.
all because
it wanted to go
somewhere warm.
