Death Welcomes All
Of nobility and pauper alike
To each his own due is weighed
Public standing is no dispute
Upon your dying day
Neither currency nor bejeweled rings
Nor grief suffered on this land
No weeping maidens pleading cry
Can stay the death king’s hand
To all he meets he greets
With thunder and his utmost grin
For all dead are welcome here
With souls engorged of sin
Death welcomes all
Immortals do not exist
So leave your dowry on your bed
It is fruitless to resist
