The wolf in me



You are my light in this darkness my
Rose who pushed her way out of the concrete
And Rose…Girl you really make me howl consistently.

As I sit under you I wonder who placed you
Way up there
So far from me
Yet so close at the same time
It hurts me every night when it is time for you
To go because I have to face reality
Again and perceive the world for what it really
Is.

Is this what it really is?

A huge mass of revolving crust filled with waters of unknown depths and land overpopulated by people just like me who compete with each other
And fight each other
And kill each other purposefully because of different beliefs and skin
With no remorse only to also die one day along with everyone and everything else?

If so I don’t want to see it again.

If I could I would take the sun and throw it,
Far off and away with the rest of the stars
And allow you to permanently shine for eternity.

I would allow life to live abundantly without that big ball of fire that pushes you out of the way each day only to light the way for those who just can’t seem to see the world for what it really is…for those who are blind to the real beauty of differences and need light to help them judge a book by its cover and not by what’s hidden within.​``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````

Maybe then we would love one another without having to see them first.

They say the freaks come out at night
But I assure you I am no freak.

I only desire that fire that is found in the dark.
