In death reborn

I shall not look up to heaven anymore!
Or cry for the convivial light it creates to heal my words again
Or the wonders of its resilient rain to burry away all my pain

I through myself put up thorny inquisitions;
But my voice softly burn out within me and the words recede into the passive close
And I remain still without a say!

I pace on with sapped steps and a thinned image;
I stop; I look about, I cannot disremember my way!
But the crevices within me bleeds out a reason to untie my thoughts
They exude a roar that case all of me with a new light!

My hopes drain away to mock me with a ripen sky,
Lord! Where am I?
Where am I?
My faith lose another ridge, my ineffable core remain patched!
Lord!
Where am I?

I know not the road to lead me home;
I fail to find a way to the world I have always known,
A way to the kachikau of my mother, the kachikau of my ancestors!
The Basekgoma land of Mologasele and the neoteric age!
