Living for this city

Like a melody by Stevie Wonder
blindly seeking change
If authority didn't lie
would this world be so deranged

Yes, should be your answer
No, would prove you wrong
Silent nights in Chicago
It's like Buddha without the gong

Whisper to your neighbor
never steal his rug
This worlds idea of sympathy
is the electric chair unplugged

They silence us with flattery
sleek with their approach
A Jekyll and Hyde agenda
Another champagne toast
